Next
week we will be reading the book How to Be a Friend. We will be using this book to discuss
cause/effect on events from the story and relate them to our lives.
MATH
We
started our chapter on regrouping with addition and we will continue with this
chapter after Thanksgiving. We will be
regrouping (carrying) to add
double-digits in an addition problem.
Social Studies
We are learning about the Pilgrims, the Native
American Indians and the First Thanksgiving.
Next week we will learn about the Pilgrims and how the First
Thanksgiving was created.

Diamond is the Student of the Week! She likes to play soccer, sing songs and play
with her friends. Her favorite animal
is a cat. Her favorite color is pink. When Diamond grows up she wants to be a Teacher.

Holiday Mitten Tree
We
are collecting mittens, hats, gloves, and scarves to donate to needy
families. We will be collecting these
items until December 17.
