READING
Next week we
will be researching the hippopotamus and the tortoise. We will be writing a paragraph on one of the
animals after we learn facts and information about them. We will be learning about pronouns.
MATH
In math we start
a new topic on mental subtraction. We
will learn strategies to find parts of 100 and subtracting multiples of
10.
Junior
Achievement
Today we had our first
session with Ms. Sallie Lupescu from the McDonald’s Corporation. She is teaching us about communities, jobs
and businesses.
Recess
We go outside for recess
unless the wind chill is below 20 degrees.
The children will need to bring snow pants and boots in order to play in
the snow. Any child who needs to stay
inside for recess will need a doctor's note.
Snack
Please remember when packing your child’s snack for school that peanuts
and peanut products are not allowed for snack time due to peanut
allergies.
