Thank you to Mrs. Gibbons, Mrs. Nolan, Mrs. Wilson and Mrs. Simpson who were our copy moms for the year. I appreciate all who sent in treats for the parties and those who helped organized the games. It was a great year!!

Thank you to the PTO for the school picnic. The children had a wonderful time!
It’s hard to believe that we have completed this school year. The children have come so far since that first day of school in August. I am very pleased with the progress they have made. Thank you for all the support you have given them and me, which has helped make this such a positive experience for all.

I want the children to have a wonderful and restful summer. There are some activities that you can do over the summer to ensure a smooth transition for your child to third grade. Please take your child to the library for frequent visits. Encourage them to read to themselves, to you, and to one another. Continue to practice flashcards, working especially with addition and subtraction facts, practice counting money and telling time. These activities, which do not take much time, but it will give your child a wonderful boost for those first days of school in third grade.

I have enjoyed teaching your children and watching them grow over the year. I will truly miss them as they move on to third grade. If you would like to write to me over the summer here is my address:
