READING
Due to a
shortened week, we will be continuing
with Officer Buckle and Gloria activities.
Vocabulary words attention, swivel, commands and popped.
Comprehension strategies
are main idea and supporting details.
In grammar we
will be working on contractions.
MATH
In math we are
going to finish our chapter on two-digit subtraction with a chapter test next
week. Our next chapter will be on place
value to 1,000.
Reading
Logs
We did not have many children turn in
their reading logs for the month of December.
Please remember to have your child read for 20 minutes daily and record
it on their logs. This is part of their
homework assignments. Our January logs
will be due on February 2nd.
