READING
Next week we
will be learning about poetry. We learn
how poems have rhyme, rhythm, repetition and beats. We will do a close reading of a poem.
MATH
Next week we
will begin a chapter on 2-digit addition.
We will be using strategies to help solve 2-digit addition
problems.

EJ is the Student of the Week! He likes to play video games, play soccer and
is good at math. His favorite animal is
a wolf and his favorite color is black.
When EJ grows up he wants to be in the air force.

The students should bring their costumes to school in a bag. We will put them on prior to the parade
starting. Only our parent volunteers
will be able to be at the party. No
makeup will be applied at school and no toy weapons are allowed.
