READING
Next week we will be
reading a book called Owl Moon. We will
be learning about owls and do some opinion writing. We will be asking the essential question: Why do readers and writers compare and
contrast stories by different authors and genres?
MATH
Next week we
will be working on repeated addition, building arrays and equal groups.
MAPS Testing
Next week we will be
taking the MAPS test on Monday and Wednesday.
Please make sure your child gets plenty of rest and eats a good
breakfast.
Open House
I
enjoyed seeing everyone at the Open House!
Thank you to everyone who for the gift certificates for the book
fair. I was able to purchase books for
our classroom to enjoy. I appreciate
your thoughtfulness! The children have
been working very hard and it shows in their beautiful work. I’m very proud of them and you should be too.
Science
Our caterpillars have built a
chrysalis and will soon be turning into butterflies. We can’t wait until they turn into
butterflies.
