READING
Next
week we will be reading the story The Paperboy by Dav Pilkey. This story is about a paperboy and his dog
and how they enjoy the quiet of the morning as they deliver the newspapers. We will be working on the comprehension skill
of visualizing to make sense of the text and reading independently.
MATH
In
math we started our chapter on number patterns . We will be learning about
ordinal numbers, greater than, less than, odd and even numbers and skip
counting. Please remember to practice
flash cards daily.
Student
of the Week
Sophia is the Student of the Week! She likes to play with the skip-it, she is
learning how to roller skate and is good at playing Minecraft. Her favorite animal is a puppy and her
favorite color is pink. When Sophia
grows up she wants to be a Dress Designer or a Hair Dresser.
