READING

Next week we will be administering the MAP test on January 10th and 12th. This is a test taken on the computer and replaces the IOWA tests. Please make sure your child gets plenty of rest and eats a good breakfast on those days.
MATH
In math we finished our chapter on data and graphs. Our next chapter will focus on probability. We will predict if an event is certain or impossible, record possible outcomes, and solve problems by making predictions. Next week we will have our chapter test. We will be working on money next.
**Please make sure you send in the following coins in a small container or baggie (with with your child's name on it) with the following coins: 20 pennies, 10 nickels, 10 dimes and 7 quarters.**

Handwriting
We will be starting to learn how to write letters in cursive. I will be sending home homework to practice the letters we are working on in school.

Her favorite animal is a dolphin . His favorite color is purple. When Munir grows up he wants to be a Toymaker.
