READING
Next week we will be two stories on
friendship. We will be comparing and
contrasting the characters in the story.
We will continue to work on writing skills when writing stories.
MATH
We started topic 2 in math. We will be learning addition strategies for
adding near doubles, adding in any order and adding three numbers. Remember to practice flashcards with your
child.
Social
Studies
We are continuing to work on map
skills. We are learning about the
directions and how to make a map using a map key and plotting those items on a
map.
Reading Logs
Reading logs are due on October 1st. All the children who have read for 21 days in
September will have a reward. Keep
reading!
Book Fair
