READING
After Thanksgiving, we will be reading the story Galimoto by Karen Lynn Williams.  This story is about a boy who searches for wires to make a toy car, called a galimoto.  We will be working on wondering, making predictions and inferring to understand a story.  We will refer to the text to support their thinking.

                          MATH
In math we are working on writing two-digit addition problems and solving them, estimating sums and problem solving.  Please remember to practice flash cards daily. After Thanksgiving our mad minute math tests will be on subtraction.

Student  of the Week
Diana is the Student of the Week!  She likes to do math, make creative projects and ride her bike.    Her favorite animal is a dog.  Her favorite color is blue.   When Diana grows up she wants to be a Teacher.
