READING
We received our pen pal letters from Mrs.
Lopez’s third grade class. We will be
learning how to compose a friendly letter.
We will write a letter back to our pen pals. We will get to meet our pen pals on May 24th
MATH
Next week we will
learn about division. We will be
dividing groups into equal shares and then connect subtraction to division.
Science
We are learning about
nutrition and eating healthy. We will
be learning about the five food groups and what foods belong in each group.
Field
Trip
On Monday, May 15th we will be going on our
field trip to the DuPage Children’s Museum.
We will be leaving at 8:30, so please make sure your child is on time
for school. There will be no hot
lunch that day. Please make sure
they have a sack lunch. We will be eating our lunch when we return to
school.
