READING
Next week we will be working on fact and
opinion. We will be reading several
stories and then write an opinion piece.
Our reading logs are due on November 1st. We voted to have a Stuffed Animal Day as a
reward.
Spelling Test
will be on Thursday, October 26th.
MATH
Next week we will be working on number patterns and comparing
numbers. We will be taking our chapter
test, addition and subtraction five minute tests.
Student
of the Week
Elaina is the Student of the Week!
She likes to play the piano, takes swimming lessons and has hermit crabs
as pets. Her favorite animal is a wolf
and her favorite color is light blue. When Elaina grows up she wants to a Veterinarian.
The Darien Woodridge Fire Fighters came to talk to us about fire
safety. We learned the importance of
getting out of a building safely if there was a fire and to have a meeting
place outside.
