READING
After
Thanksgiving, we will be reading the
story called Officer Mike and Aero. It
is a non-fiction story about a police officer and his dog. We will be comparing it to the story Officer
Buckle and Gloria. We will work on the
comprehension strategy of main idea and supporting details.
MATH
After
Thanksgiving, we will be working on 2-digit subtraction. Practicing subtraction facts will help your
child.
Student of the Week
Eliza is the Student of the Week! She likes to dance, do art projects and
gymnastics. Her favorite animal is a
cat. Her favorite color is blue. When Eliza grows up she wants to be a Teacher.
2nd Grade Musical
The children did a great job at the musical last night! Thank you to Ms. Goldenberg for leading such
a great show! I am very proud of them!
