READING
Next week we will be learning about poetry. We learn how poems have rhyme, rhythm, repetition and beats. We will do a close reading of a poem.
MATH
Next week we will be working on using equations to solve problems, equal
groups and repeated addition. We will
also be taking our monthly addition and subtraction timed tests.
Our afternoon snack is working out great for the children! We are more energetic for math!
Student
of the Week
Sam is the Student of the Week! She
likes to play softball, climb trees and do art projects. Her favorite animal is a cheetah and her
favorite color is purple. When Sam grows up she wants to a Scientist.
Halloween Partries/Parade

The students should bring their costumes to school in a bag. We will put them on prior to the parade
starting. Only our parent volunteers
will be able to be at the party. No
makeup will be applied at school and no toy weapons are allowed.
